That math does not add up. If it was 12 hours into its journey then the round-trip flight should’ve been almost 24 hours. But instead, it was barely over 12 hours.

american air did this to me we were 15 hours into the flight going to newzeland and we turned around and flew back for a "medical emergency" when we only had 3 hours till we were there

they were 12 hrs into a 14 hr flight. 2 left to go. that means they had to go back 6-8 ish hours to hit the west coast, but didn't land there. carried on another 5 to TX. so on the low end, 23ish hrs
