If you are a company with multiple trucks having a dispatcher could help, but one truck owner operator does not need to spend any unnecessary money on dispatching when it can be done by himself.

I try to stick to brokers I have worked with to cut down on the calls but u are 100% correct . You have to work the phones and Self dispatch doesn’t have time to call so many

I rarely call much days except it's a lane I really like, all the details are posted or something specific I am looking for. Most of the loads come from brokers I know or broker boards.
