I watched in slow motion the runners lead lead would have been aimed for the base instead of his knee, he would have been safe but it was out. Ref was in perfect position to see it too

I recorded this and rewatched in slow motion, the runner did NOT miss first base and the runner was indeed out at home.

That’s a good call.. I put it in .5 playback speed and you can pause it when he makes the tag, runner misses the plate with the front foot, then is tagged while trying to reach with his right hand

Fairly close the tag was first before the knee kntouched the plate. His first foot/knee went over the plate didn’t touch.
