I would set up a nanny cam to prove to your husband she is not meaning well in case it is needed. Your house your rules. When she wants to visit, tell her you are out, do things you know your MIL does not like and tell her she is welcome to join you.... so she is not in your house. Your MIL is a bully,

Absolutely not!! You’ve done the right thing. My MIL was vile to me when we had our first son extremely premature, that I trapped my now husband into it etc. we went 4 years not speaking to her because it had such an impact on my mental health. We’ve been in touch again for 4 years now and my husband finally (in the last 3 years or so) sees her how I do now for what she really is - a selfish, vindictive witch. Stand your ground!!! 🤍
