it wasnt that he didnt love her anymore and she knew that deep inside he still did- it was his absence that haunted her . being unable to see him or talk to him for a prolonged period of time while she was still falling in love with him. and now i completely understand that feeling

So many people think it’s just because of his absence and him not loving her anymore. Don’t get me wrong that is a huge part to why but it was because she never really belonged anywhere but when she found her place in the vampire world feeling accepted. Then having it ripped away from her and her first and only lover gone. Thats a huge facter of why she was so depressed!
