i never learned how to either and was mainly bc most of my items didn’t have ‘homes’, so i suggest getting small storage for even the small specific things, everything having a home makes it (part 1)

girl get a couple of those school folders and label them as a general idea of what they are (one being “taxes” and all ur tax papers go in it etc) i promise when u start the process it will be so easy

i have a pegboard from ikea that i put near my desk on the wall and got an attachment that can hold an accordion folder and put all my important documents for taxes, receipts, insurance, etc
