the scary thing is that historically in capitalist states, good policies end up serving larger, more terrible ends. the whole Canadian project is pointed in the wrong direction. it's good for people to have homes, but if it ends up making us a more powerful military state then that's more complicated

There are already more empty dwellings than we have homeless people. the problem is that it is a investment opportunity before it is a home. this is an obvious issue If we really want to talk about housing people. why do seemingly intelligent people pander to this capitalist rhetoric. there is no crisis.
