@frecklesfellowship: The other day we were notified about a ‘brown pigeon with fluffy feet and a fluffy head’- that was for sure an understatement! This guy we believe is a bokhara trumpeter, distinguished by its feathered feet, known as muffs, and a prominent double crest that often obscures its eyes which is the case here. Unfortunately these characteristics are very unethical and the muffs especially can break and lead to catastrophic bleeding as well as impact walking. This fella will undergo a bit of a grooming to make his life a bit easier at FFPR. He is yet to have been bestowed a name so we would love some suggestions for this mellow fellow!
