my adult great dane is 80/20. Most the time he doesn't lift but he does sometimes. my puppy great dane squats SO LOW so i think he will be like his older brother.

I had a female pup and a senior male at one point. He hated seeing her squat, and would push his nose under her leg to force her to hike. For most of her life she did this weird combo of squatting and hiking that looked very athletically difficult😂 she’s the only female I’ve ever seen hike

My dog is 5 and has NEVER lifted his leg and he is an intact male; his brother passed at 9.5 and never lifted his leg either as fixed male.
