@ellawrobel: this is by far the most vulnerable thing I’ve ever shared on the internet but the past nine months have truly been the hardest of my life. looking back at how far I’ve come feels surreal, especially considering how slow and tedious my rehab process has been. there was a time when I couldn’t even get out of a car or my bed and now i’m able to start jumping again… it’s crazy. our bodies are capable of so much, and throughout this journey, i’ve learned the importance of giving myself grace for every small accomplishment. after my back surgery, i couldn’t imagine ever bending low enough to pass or returning to where i once was physically. now, i am starting to practice again, and it’s so rewarding to see how the long and “boring” hours of rehab have paid off. through this process, i’ve learned patience and gratitude, and i’ve come out the other side stronger. injuries are tough, but they’re part of the reality we don’t often talk about. this is the side of recovery most people don’t see so i thought i would share❤️ #sports #injury #ohiostate #rehab
