Maybe Ireland shudnt have sold it... and fed their own? The boats may have had soldiers but the food came from farms ... so why transport it to the boats?

Doing all this was bad enough but they then stopped aid from getting to Ireland. They blocked the aid ships. Queen Victoria didn't want the Irish getting more than she gave.

It wasn’t a famine. There was plenty of food in Ireland. The Irish people just weren’t allowed to eat it. They were starved to death by the powers that ruled our land.

I knew about the potato famine, but not that we allowed it to happen! England owes Ireland more than an apology 😢 This is when my family moved from Ireland (found out through ancestry)
