It wasn’t a famine. There was plenty of food in Ireland. The Irish people just weren’t allowed to eat it. They were starved to death by the powers that ruled our land.

people clearly misunderstood the video, the British did not intentionally plan a famine nor did they create it. a blight killed the crops the locals ate. the rest was taken by the British.

Doing all this was bad enough but they then stopped aid from getting to Ireland. They blocked the aid ships. Queen Victoria didn't want the Irish getting more than she gave.
