They beat reigning champion South Carolina on Sunday in a 82-59 victory in the title game in Tampa, Florida. According to Stats Perform, UConn’s Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong together scored 368 points during the NCAA tournament – the highest point total for a teammate trio in a single tournament, men’s or women’s. Fudd was also named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. The win marks star guard Paige Bueckers' final game with the Huskies.
