Happened to my 4Runner. Mice chewed up a bunch of wires guy at the dealership, said to put mothballs into cheese cloth and keep it in the bay, and it worked like a charm

Bounce dryer sheets and that tape that Honda dealer sells works great. I’m in the car business and have been using the Honda tape for 5 years on my Toyota customers with mouse damage. It works!

Leave the hood up that’s what they doing. Salmon on corn creek so the varmints don’t get underneath the hood of the car.
