I only got to go in once... I had been hospitalized after an accident I can't really remember. But outside my window was the ToyRUs. I spent a week looking at it and mom said she'd take me when I got better. So I did my best to be a good patient for the nurses.And she took me over the same day I got out and let me buy a brand new star wars lego set. I spent an hour looking a debating. I later. Found out that my mother's friend group paid for it because she couldn't... I miss the simple days of 2000's. Things weren't the best back then but there was still an innocence to the world, a hope that seems gone. Maybe it's part of growing up, realizing that there's no such thing as a happy ending.

I remember I used to go to toysrus with my dad jus to play with the Thomas the tank engine toys not those new LEGO ones but like the small wooden magnetic ones (they stopped making them which idk why) like the store had a Thomas and friends toy aisle section filled with jus those toys and a table with Thomas tracks and a few Thomas train toys to play with on it (thats where Id always play when my dad took me) it was fun and now the store is just there empty infront of the McDonald's that lost its colors (it used to be so colorful with the old red roof and playground) it's now got that modernized look which I like but not as much as the old red roof McDonald's

I remember when you went on your birthday you would go to the front and tell them they would give you a cardboard Burger King style hat to wear and would announce it over the intercom
