23 in 2008. We were broke before and after the recession but we had the dollar menu, sparks, jungle juice, seagrams whiskey and off brand 7up. Look kids, none of us were sober or rested.

It's nowhere near the same situation. I was already poor and food prices didn't increase. Eggs were frequently less than a dollar a dozen. 😂😭 THIS IS NOTHING LIKE THAT.

The thing was rent was still manageable and so we're groceries. I could go to Grocery Outlet and fill my cart for $100 and that would feed our family of 4 for almost 2 weeks.
