@cbsnews: A police officer was seen shedding his duty gear in the middle of the night to rescue an individual who had driven their car into the Arkansas River in Barling, Arkansas, on Sunday. Police say when officers arrived on the scene, the individual was “struggling to stay afloat,” leading Barling Officer Cody Douglas to jump into the water to help before other officers arrived at the boat ramp to use a rope to help get the individual out of the fast-moving water.
