Gently spread it out evenly to the edges. 6. Optional: You can lightly score the dough into 9 or 12 squares before baking to guide your cuts—but I cut mine after baking. 7. Bake: Bake for 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are crispy and buttery. 8. Cool & serve: Let them cool just a bit, then slice into squares.
