Asalamalikum everyone. I am your very own Zayn Saeed, and today I am sharing the massive change that came into my life. The beginning of January 2025 was going so well, but suddenly, while I was at work, I was struck with jaundice. Everyone casually said, 'Jaundice is normal, it will pass.' But it only grew worse. It progressed from Hepatitis A, spiraling down into the very last stage—Stage E. A normal human body has a bilirubin level of about \bm{1.9}; if it reaches \bm{25}, it can cause brain damage. I reached an unbearable \bm{48} bilirubin level. I still don't know how, or when, everything happened so fast. I was reduced to a state where I would pray to Almighty Allah to just grant me death, Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness from Allah). The only reason I share all of this is to show how a person's life can change in a mere moment. I lost \bm{32 \text{ kg}} of weight. I lost my mental health, my physical health, my business, my friends—everything, in an instant. Please, never take your life for granted. ALLAH SWT (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) has created a purpose for every single life. This difficult time revealed the true faces of so many people. I experienced moments where people failed to recognize me—that I was Zayn. And I used to hide from everyone because my hair had fallen out, and so much else was gone. Whatever your situation, give thanks to Allah, and do not harbor envy. Envy, or the evil eye (nazar), can utterly destroy a person. When you look at anyone, say Masha'Allah (What Allah has willed). The life you see someone living is truly not their whole story. I hope this has taught you something, however small. I just want to thank my family: my mother, brother, and sister. And three or four of my friends. ALHUMDULILLAH (Praise be to Allah), I am recovering now.
