Malone had more wins than any coach in the league the past 5 years. With a franchise that has historically struggled. Not sure who they can bring in that would be an upgrade.

Ownership had every intent to fire both. For Malone in particular it’s simply not allowing him to build a case for himself. It would b hard 2 fire him if somehow the Nuggets go on a deep playoff run.
