@crimechronicles911: On June 16, 2023, a welfare check was called on 61-year-old William S. Boardman. It was apparent he was struggling with his mental healt. As he left his property in his truck, deputies attempted a traffic stop to continue to figure out what was going on and why he was so agitated. Then the unexpected happened as William drove off the scene one of the deputy’s stepped onto the moving vehicle. As the officer pleaded with William to stop the truck, William began to veer into oncoming traffic that’s when the offficer fired a single shot, fatally striking William. No officer was charged.
