We have to have strict sunscreen rules, but they are still not good enough in my opinion

Is it a bad cut, or did he ask a question, let her get 5 words in abs then go back to dominating the conversation?

With the amount of people with skin cancer here in Australia why wouldn’t you have the strictest sunscreen rules.

it's actually well regulated with a smaller approved ingredients list then Australia. it's actually been an issue for Australian brands trying to move into the American market

I had the understanding that due to the ozone layer being thinner over Australia the sun is harsher so we need stronger sunscreen than other countries

The FDA has allowed itself to be lobbied by industry. Until this changes FDA will never be for the people.

US government doesn't care about your health because they don't pay for it. Sunscreen in 🇺🇸 would not prevent sunburn in Australia.

Unpopular opinion but there’s gotta be something better than the fda because it’s a hassle to get anything approved as a small business owner but they let things slide for major corps.

I’m in Australia, my family came out from the UK to visit this summer. They bought “factor 15” sunscreen. I just threw it in the bin. Pointless in Australia.

I love how they asked her a question about Australia but then talk about themselves for 5 minutes

Not only is there a lot of chemicals we don’t allow on topical creams but they also are not strong enough for our sun. They simply don’t work as well as the ones made for here

Sun screen in the US costs about 3 times as sun screen in Australia. It couldn't compete on price.

Typically they made it about themselves rather talking about Australian issues with their sunscreens.

Our oz layer sucks, I digress they’ve repairing it nicely alas the sun exposure here is so bad, we need regulated sunscreens because skin cancer is up there in leading deaths

Our sun conditions here are also in general more damaging than North America and the Northern Hemisphere in general.

FDA hasn’t approved a new sunscreen ingredient since the 90s right? Seems pretty lazy
