Just because the zip goes up, it doesn't mean it doesn't separate at the end. Like there is genuinly nothing dictating zippers can only separate at the bottom

you don't have to put it on like a hoodie. it is a zipper. wich means it will separate. you only pull it down instead of up.

So I'm not the only one who noticed that like, immediately when I saw the outfit. And yeah, crazy as it sounds that is a thing for tops. Keeps the zipper and teeth away from your throat.
