@tarah.and.barry: Well I was NOT expecting that! 🫣 I was due for my period in the next couple of days and was just about to order my medication for IVF. Days before, we’d had our first IVF appointment and were getting ready to officially start. I don’t know why, because at this point I genuinely didn’t think it would happen naturally for us… but I thought, “why not do one last test?” One final test for our last natural cycle, fully expecting the same result as always. Next minute… I’m staring at a positive at 8DPO and I was SHOOK. I’d accepted that IVF and embryo freezing was the path we were heading down. I’d even gone wedding dress shopping and said yes to the dress just a week earlier. I wanted to share this because over the past few months I’ve been so open with you all about my journey with endo, and Barry and I were getting ready to take you along on our IVF journey so it only feels natural to take you on this journey too. I’m currently 5+ weeks pregnant. I found out super early (as you can tell by this video), and all of my blood tests, HCG levels, and progesterone are looking really good and optimal.
