Both dealerships within an hour of me tried to get me on an 883 as a first bike because i was financing and had very little credit history. Im 6’2” and at the time was probably 300lbs 🤣

same thing happened to me, I'm 6'4 and 230 lbs and they said 883 superlo was best fit for me needless to say I traded it in after 300 miles

When i bought my first bike it was a 23 road glide i didn’t even sit on it 🤣 needless to say it was a interesting ride home

I started on a 883. Moved up to a Street Glide. Much better fit. More comfortable.
