I had a 2014 diesel, loved it so much but the repairs were insane. Had to replace all motor mounts, water pump went out at 35,000, had to replace all fuel injectors and fuel lines, sensors kept going out, several emissions problems. Had about 155,000 when I traded for a 2024 Trax

I’ve worked on a bunch of Cruze. They are actually good car. Yea they have issues but repairs are so easy to do. And they are a pretty nice car to drive for a economy car

2014 LTZ Cruze 205k - valve cover, oil cooler/filter, coolant housing, thermostat, turbo, all coolant lines. I still love mine. Used to own a 2012 Cruze and loved it too. Can’t complain, cheap cars.

The reason the valve cover diaphragm fails is do to a check valve failure in the intake manifold

Last weekend I traded my 2015 Chevy Cruze ltz. Bought it in 2016 with 35k miles. Traded it in at 232k. I changed the water pump and the valve cover too many times. I enjoyed the challenge.

I have a 2018 Trax same engine no issues at all I think it’s the way people don’t take care of it like not charging the oil or using cheap oil and using the wrong coolant

My 2015 Cruze just blew the oil cooler. 129k miles. Always did proper maintenance. 3 valve covers, 2 sets of spark plugs, and a new coil pack- I’m misfiring again too.
