maybe this is crazy but what if you centered the bed with the wall it’s on right now to block off the tiny nook completely? it would feel like a normal room with a window above the bed

Hang curtains across the wall with the little nook and forget it exists. Put the bed centered on that wall.

So invested. But ultimately, I think no matter what you do, the bed frame is too much for the odd layout of the room and throwing off any idea you have.

Diagonal looks good. But I’d definitely consider putting it in the middle of the wall, blocking off the little window nook

Block 1 closet door and have the headboard flat against that wall. Leave room where you can still walk into the nook by the foot of the bed. Evently get a new bed frame so you can reach the switch
