I did shock my therapist.. she couldn’t hide it. I came out to her that I’m bi (currently married to a man but getting divorced) and her face said it all. But she recovered well 😅

Therapist here. 💯 I told my pt “I was thinking about you and the work we’re doing and I’m wondering if we should try _____” we don’t forget about you and we’re trained on how to manage that.

Legit question I struggle with. How do you explain the fact that therapists have an economic incentive for clients *not* to get better - especially in countries with collapsed economic systems?
