The same thing happened to me for 6 years. I must have taken over 50 boxes of antibiotics. The nhs was really useless. For me personally they stopped happening after I left my ex.

1. Make sure you boyfriend gets tested. 2. I have chronic UTI and have had them for 3 years, been to all the specialists, turned out it’s linked to Endometriosis, just had surgery 4 weeks ago. X

To think you girls now have to wait till your 25 to get a smear test & now they don't even check your cells on the NHS. You would have to go private to get your cells checked now. Unless you have HPV

Issy, it’s all connected to the issues in the gut!!! Your microflora in the gut is thrown off, which promotes growth of bad bacteria. Antibiotics didn’t help at all. They just make things worse⬇️

If you haven’t already, ask to get tested for Urea Plasma!! If you test positive you & your partner will need antibiotics like doxycycline, since beta-lactams (like penicillin) don’t work!

I have had Chronic UTI’s for 9 years and it was ruining my life. found a clinic on Harley Street that Specialises in Chronic and Embedded UTI’s.been on treatment there for a year and changed my life❤️

So sorry you’re going through this but well done for raising awareness. Smear tests should be earlier and more frequent. I know women that have a short urethra get a lot of UTIs

Interstitial cystitis I suffered for years. I started to take D Manoose .. consistently. Test for an auto immune. . So sorry for your news. I had hashimotto auto immune.Hope you feel better soon
