I see some people are confused in the comments so I’ll say it. No, we don’t HAVE to pray while offerings and we don’t HAVE to explain. It’s very popular but worshipping it’s everyone’s personal experience. As long as you do the offerings respectfully they’ll accept it and be “happy” about it
