@pnwsuzie: A dear friend taught me about this adorable hotel directly on the beach about 15 years ago. I’ve been with best friends, girls trips, couples trips, then with my family, and this was my very first solo parenting trip with our three boys. Traveling as a solo parent should be an Olympic sport! We sure missed my husband dearly! This is the two-queen room in the east building. If you can request the third floor, most of those come with an ocean view. Walking distance to the beach, but you can also drive your car directly out to the sand. There is a lovely restaurant called “Pickled Fish” on the fourth floor in the west building. Their food is wonderful, drinks are lovely and there is often live music! The hotel offers a heated pool year-round, four barrel saunas, a fire pit, bike rentals, and a new coffee shop in the lobby. And you’ll never believe the absolute steal I got for one night on spring break! Post your guesses in the comments $$$
