This has got to be fixed. I completely agree with compensation but there has to be caps and contracts. There should be a stipulation also that if you receive compensation for playing you do not get a scholarship and free ride. Save the scholarship for another student that needs it and deserves it. There is so much grey area here and there shouldn’t be. This has to be treated just like a business contract. Player commits said player receives compensation for a signed contract. Player breaks the contract they are heavily penalized. There should also be a clause that says if said player is released by the university for whatever reason they will receive a prorated compensation. I don’t know if this is the exact answer there are people way smarter than me that can come up with a better solution then the current situation. Something needs to change. This is killing college football.

College NIL issues are an easy fix. Two year contract, must make grades, cap on max nil amount, one transfer then must sit a year. There needs to be boundaries and standards.

If NIL worked the way it was designed it would be fine. Do a car commercial or get your picture on a potato chip bag then you get paid. What is happening now is just pay for play not NIL.

I live in Knoxville. Our local TN Vols TV program this morning took a poll. 83% support kicking Nico to the curb! Me included! He didn’t live up to expectations. NIL should have $250K cap per player!
