As someone who was in choir, it might have to do with how the band is arranged. Ive never seen a band in an outward facing circle, which affects how the sound is perceived. Or they just might be ahh

The band isn’t bad, the people who planned the event planned it very poorly and did not accommodate the fact that the band wouldn’t match acoustics like anything else they put in the concert. You could have the best performers in world do this show and it would still sound bad because of the very poor planning and lack of understanding of sound
