I’m reiterating what everyone else wrote but yeah by law larger shops can only stay open for 6 hours, I don’t know what the history is behind it exactly

Sunday trading laws, shops open for 6 hours usually, smaller Tesco, Morrison's etc are still open late.

only take £30 with you. you will get enough food for a week. scotland gives a discount on thursday . for example a loaf of wholemeal bread is 45p.
