@deltabolic: Cable Curl Variations (KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!) Underhand grip (palms up) while squatting biases the short head of the biceps, though the long head still plays a supporting role. Overhand grip (palms down) shifts the focus to the brachioradialis, a key forearm muscle. Neutral grip (palms facing each other) targets the brachialis, which lies beneath the biceps. The biceps and brachioradialis still contribute, but less directly. Performing cable curls with your elbows behind your torso shifts emphasis to the long head of the biceps, giving it a better stretch, while the short head remains active but less dominant. If you do neutral grip, you won’t bias the brachialis. It actually can’t be biased. But, you will be working it the most like that. So if you want to make it bigger, then that’s the best way to do it
