My wife had one when we got together that she had for like 15 years?! Our dentist was flabbergasted. She said it’s actually terrible for the health of your mouth and recommended a night guard.

I was 14 and it broke off partially at 23/24 when I bit into a fry at 3 am on a weekend. Couldn’t get it out. Neither could the er doc. They called their maintenance man in and he saved the day 🤷🏼♀️

Mine broke off halfway , 2 days before going in to be induced I didn't want to go to the dentist while heavily pregnant so I used pliers and ripped it out the rest of the way. 🤣

I had to get mine removed after 2 years because the orthodontist put it in wrong to the point I wasn’t even able to get floss between it and my teeth

I got mine in mid 2000s, and half of it finally broke in 2023 while i was at a convention. I pulled the rest of it out, and it's made zero difference to my teeth so far. lmao I'm glad it's gone

i had mine for 10yrs & it started to come loose right around the time i decided to get braces round 2: Maybe This Will Help My Tmj. i'm glad they removed it so i didnt have to figure it out lol

Mine did that too. It broke shortly after getting put in (for the third time) and I just dealt with it being broken for a few years until it randomly popped out when I was about to get it removed 😂

Got mine at 8 years old. At 29 years old it flung out while flossing. Called my dentist up and was like my little friend needs glued back in ASAP. Been solid for the last 5 years👌🏼

I guess the wire they used for yours was better. Mine broke into several pieces after about 3-4 years… the glue held strong I just got poked
