I know you don’t want to use Accutane, but as a doctor, I will always advocate for its use. There are many myths on the internet about it, such as the idea that it causes depression. However, the truth is that it works wonders. I suggest giving it a try, but of course, it must be prescribed by your dermatologist first

You still look fab. I’ve had this on and off for decades and recently 2 months ago(after a food inflammation test) found out I was milk and gluten reactive in my gut. I stopped both and after 1 week my face was clear. Worth a try to do the “York”allergy test to see if any particular foods are giving you inflammation as that was the root cause for me. Good luck 🤞

I wouldn’t give up! However you need to get a couple of Dr opinions. Cystic acne is a disease, and maybe I don’t know enough of how much you went through with professionals , but don’t give up until you find so

My daughter had cystic acne far worse than this… we tried everything… accutane being the last resort.. but it was the best decision she made for herself. 4 years later skin still looks like a porcelain doll and little to no scarring.. id be happy to share before and after.. as her mom that was the last resort but she was suffering in so many ways. Im so happy we did this ❤️

My son had horrible acne. I know people on here have mentioned accutane, but it works. Within a month in half it was a 1000 times better. Crazy how well it worked

Definitely the hardest part of acne journey is having it clear up some weeks and feeling hopeful and then doing a 180 the next and having it be the worst it’s ever been. So discouraging. I am right there w you 😞

You are so beautiful. I don’t want to be another comment with advice. My daughter struggled, horribly with acne and tried everything. It finally cleared it up when she took all her earrings out. She was having a reaction to the metals. Maybe it’s worth a try? It almost instantly cleared her face up!

I've been here since high school I know how bad it makes you feel down especially the hurtful acne like hurts to talk or touch and drains your energy 100% and you just wanna hide in your room in bed everyday and don't wanna see anyone until it just magically disappears the next morning. praying and wishing it would just all go away :/

I take himalayan shilajit every morning and it has made a huge difference for me. I get the little packets from Amazon and they're mixed with honey.
