I had to prove medical issues for 4 mins extra per shift. Holding serious meetings about my water intake/output. Could not believe they were actually saying it. Call centres are a form of torture

I worked at SSE and they are genuinely like this. I was told to go back to my desk when I'd been to the toilet. Boss was waiting just outside toilets to tell me. I found courage to leave after 3.5y

This exact situation happened to me at school. They called my parents and told them to seek medical advice. turned out I was diabetic. it saved my life.

Employers think they own you because they pay your wages if you need to go you need to go if it’s constant they can ask you to get a check up with doctor but can’t hold it against you power trip
