I feel like the doppelganger now suffers a totally unique DID system where they are trying to do their job but like also fully believe they are a functioning broken human as well brought on by the stress of trying to replicate symptoms....but that human is not the target human at ALL but a unique persona that absolutely believes it's doppelganger self to be a bad dream and they have a totally average human life with ALL the details.
