@itshelenmelon: okdongsik is now in LA!! They’re a Michelin guide restaurant from Korea (with a location in NYC too!) and they’re currently doing a pop-up in downtown LA at the Stile hotel. They’re open everyday except Monday and they should be around thru December. Their specialty is dweji gomtang or pork rice soup. The food quality is EXCELLENT. I got the seafood pancake not expecting too much, but it was INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend!! Their prices are excellent, especially given their Michelin status and what we’re used to in LA. BUT expect long waits on the weekend. We waited 1 hour on a Sunday for lunch and they sold out early! They have a waitlist where you can put your name down, leave and come back later. Parking is TOUGH and expensive around here. Unless you find a rare street parking spot, expect to pay a lot. We paid $12 for the lot right next to the hotel. PRO TIP - there’s also a gelato stand on the bottom floor of the hotel that is SO GOOD!!
