I breastfed my son til he was 2 yrs old. I got the same looks and even my husband had a problem with it. I didn’t care what people said, it was healthy for him. So GOOD JOB! 👏🏽

I never breastfed, I got more negative comments from that. That crazy part is when they all go to school the teacher doesn’t know who was breastfed and who wasn’t…all the kids are fine

I’m a nurse, it’s really hard to combat the negative comments family members give moms while learning to breastfeed and remain professional. Once a grandma said “this must be new, we used formula”

Good job 👏🏾 I was the only one in my immediate family to breastfeed. I did it for 18 months. I knew it was best for me and my babies. My great aunt did it for 4 years. Do you boo.💞

I love how transparent you are because there's no support out here. In the Bible we nursed till they were 3 but now people look at you crazy after they turn one or God forbid get a tooth LOL
