The 2-year-old boy was first reported missing Monday after he wandered away from his family's rural home, officials said. Deputies, accompanied by over 40 search and rescue members, scanned the area for about 16 hours. A nearby rancher said his dog, Buford, spotted the boy while he was patrolling the property — which is approximately seven miles away from where the boy went missing — for coyotes.
