for those who say it's blasphemy/blasphemous, it's not the word blasphemy is either taking God's name in vain or mocking, talking bad about God, this isn't a blasphemy but a tradition and reminder what he did for us they do this to repent, they voluntarily do this in belief that it can grant miracles too, so No this isn't a blasphemy/mocking as it is showing what God did and they are simply reminding us, whatever your opinion is respect the tradition as we also respect yours. like Ang oa nyo promise.
