i did two rounds of accutane, on the first i was on a normal dose for my weight (40mg a day) and the sensitivity to the sun and dryness were a bit much for me to handle. +

accutane made a world of difference for me! I was on it for 10 months since I could only tolerate a somewhat low dose for my body weight. Dr Dan's lipchap with hydrocortisone was a lifesaver for me!

I was on 20mg for 6 months and my skin is perfect now. It was hard having joint paint and my lips were very dry (the whole thing that helped was dr dans cortibalm) and la Roche posay cicaplast baume. Take omega 3 supplements if you can. Drink lots of water. Sleep as much as you can! Good luck xxx

im on 10mg a day for 8 months, my cousin was on 5mg for 4 months and now that im seeing all these tiktoks, like HOW did i get so little dosage? my skin was literally covered in painful cystic, inflamed acne, its basically clear now, the marks are still there but it will probably come back

i was on accutane from oct-may of last year — best decision EVER. Now i maintain clear skin with adapalene gel. hope it works for you!

Please keep us updated and explain it in more detail again!! I‘ve never heard of this before, but I‘d love to try it too. I‘m currently on my second round of accutane and taking 10mg per week. Hopefully my derm will keep me on it for around 2 years as well.

Definitely aquaphor or Vaseline for your lips, Hydrating eye drops, La Roche posay face moisturizer and sunscreen, spf lip chap too!!

have so much lipbalm on board and keep enerythimg else simple. i reccomend aquaphor. and a super simple cleanse, mousturize, sunscreen routine. that being said i was on a heavier dose ✨

I find epiduo forte in a maintenance type of application does wonders for me (it did clear my acne as well, but i no longer burn my whole face off with every fay application- rather once a week)

I burned so easy when I was in it and the burns were extremely painful. Wear sunscreen!!! And carry lip balm with you everywhere you go. My lips peeled and cracked so bad😫
