I watched a LTC and CSM walk by a Soldier with no head gear, they called him out, solider pulls out his Green Beret puts it back in his pocket and kept walking. This was at the Butner Rd PX.

As Bragg baby from 03-10 it’s definitely changed a lot and not the same. Sad bro, I’m glad I’m retired because the discipline, pride and standards are not same or enforced like it use to be. Starts from the top and a lot of Seniors are the ones doing it and not making on the spot corrections. Keep doing your thing champ 🫡 and leading from the front

US = 5% of NCOs STRUGGLING to enforce standards because the other 95% give 0 f*cks trying to be “cool” and friends with Soldiers. You gotta enforce everything or nothing.. can’t pick and choose.

I saw all this coming back in 2000. Also when they started with the no shine boots, wrinkle wash and wear uniforms and those dam stress cards. I retired in 2005. 1SG. number 13 on the SGM list. Turned it down and went home. You are right but it army wide. Military period, getting weak.

82nd 08-2012 the walking in uniform while on the phone or without a PC they was on yo ahh! Went by the reg for everything EXCEPT Weight! I never understood it and it’s sad to hear it’s still going on
