Its common when a country loses to insurgent forces. US removed Nelson Mandela and his Spear of the Nation group from the terror watch list in 2011 a few years after they overthrew the Apartheid government of South Africa, then they removed NVK and the Viet Cong from the terror list a couple of decades after the US lost in Vietnam, and US will most likely remove the Taliban from the terror watch list too in a few years.😅🙏
