Cactus law AND tree law is an extremely fastidious, lucrative, and neurotically exacting body of law. To put it simply and bluntly, if you have some disagreement with a person's tree(or cacti) on their property but they do not care to acquiesce, it would be financially and legally easier, cheaper, and less painful to simply kill everyone in the house, buy the property, THEN cut the offending plant down, than simply slipping in I'm the shadow of night, and cutting the offending plant down. I am not bullshitting here, either.

Saguaros only grow in that area and take 75-100 years to grow their first arm. Aboutt 10 years to get 6inches tall. That cactus probably saw wagons coming west for the first time.

These comments are clearly not from AZ. Some saguaros are even older than the state itself. It’s native to the Sonoran desert, one of the most unique landscapes we have on earth.

Male Test Subject #1 :
Just left Saguaro National Park near Tucson. If it was over 6 get tall, it was probably over 70 years old. They live to be over 150. In the 30s, ranchers allowed cattle to eat the nurse trees.
