Chef of 30 years here, the whole process was textbook. Basically ground beef stroganoff. Super easy and good. Much faster than many dinners for its heartiness, if you want scratch cooking.

Firstly, that is a massive amount of onion for that quantity of meat. Secondly, once the mince is browned, remove it, then add the onions so they can brown nicely instead of just steaming!
