Not magical but practical - my parents were able to pay for tutoring when I needed it, fund my college, help with a downpayment for my first house. If I had siblings they probably couldn’t afford that

it’s always been just my mother and i but her love was more than enough. because i’m her only child i basically had all her attention and she always was able to go above and beyond for everything. she attended all of my plays as a kid, volunteered for all my sports events, and even spent hours working on school projects with me. she’s truly my favourite person in the world!! i don’t think i couldve ever shared her love with a sibling, i’d be too jealous😭😭

Only child here, anything you do is magical with a sibling or not. My parents were wonderful but I always wanted a sibling even as I’m older it would just be nice to have someone going through life with me.

We just hung out all the time. Friday evenings at the mall, dinner, vacations…we were just a little unit. I miss it.

I was/ am an only child and never once wished I had a sibling or wondered what it would be like 😅 Always had friends over 24-7, though! Now I also have an only child!

not magical, just basic things: i was able to play any sport i wanted to because my parents didn’t worry about having to pay for fees and equipment for other siblings. they’re able to help me out so much more now that i’m going to college (paying for my apartment, paying for personal expenses). i was able to get a car when i turned 16. they were able to save more money in my account because they only had to save for one and didn’t have the expenses that multiples come with

I was an only child of a single mom & we did everything together, I went anywhere she went. & every Friday we’d get take out or go out to eat & go shopping or watch movies or whatever.

Loved it. My dad brought his feminine energy with him whenever necessary. He once picked me up from school in highschool after I got dumped to watch movies and eat chocolate together. He was a CEO.
