Babies can’t have water because it dilutes the nutrition in their formula which can impacting their growth and cause malnutrition. If nobody answered why. Lol

Well, it's relative to their size. Water is a component of milk, but also if an adult drank two gallons of water a day they'd die of water intoxication too.

If they have too much water it can cause their blood to become hypotonic (too much water not enough sodium in their blood) and their kidneys are too tiny to filter out all the excess water
