Yeahhh only when replacing the bearing does the spindle nut have to come off

the locknut is a one time use item. should be replaced everytime as there is no cotterpin used in this application

Fun fact: Ford says that spindle nut can only be torqued 4 times over the course of it's life and needs to be replaced. Manual also says to torque it in intervals while rotating the drum backwards.

So the bearings are pre-lubed, I take it cause I didn't see you loaded up with grease or oil.
